Ninja, Layla, Tess, Sammy, Patriot, Legend, Luna and Faith
This family of horses has ties to Sinatra and most of them are related in one way or another. They came to Eden Healing Center in May of 2020.
Only three of the eight horses were broke to ride in the past before coming to Eden Healing Center. Tess, Layla and Sammy had previously been broke and needed a small refresher course and weight put pack on before they were suitable to ride again. With love and guidance they were able to get used to interacting with people and other horses.
Ninja, Legend, Luna and Faith had never been broken to ride and were relatively feral. It took a bit longer for them to trust humans but through time, love, and patience they were able to be broken to ride and once they had gained weight are happy lesson horses living their best life. Now these horses are living a happy life here at Eden or at their adoptive homes. Legend and Patriot were adopted out because they were not useable in the program but the rest of the herd is still at Eden and available for lessons and lease!
Below is an image progression of what they looked like on intake day and their recovery to what they look like now! You can click on the horse’s name to learn more about them!
