Hello,
My name is Holly and my daughter’s name is Jo. Jo has been taking riding lessons with Jessica since she was 3 years old and she is now 6. I am writing this letter to recommend Jessica for your consideration.
When we started riding lessons Jo was very shy and did not want to talk in front of people. She did not want to be in front of a group of people. Over the last three years Jo has grown confidence in herself. She is so proud of what she can do on the horse and someday hopes to have her own horse. I know that Jessica’s influence had greatly contributed to my daughters confidence and assurance that her goals are achievable.
Jessica is an amazing teacher and is very knowledgeable with horses. She takes time with the kids and listens to them. Whether it is teaching a specific skill or talking about what is on their mind, Jessica helps each student feel valued and heard. We lost my dad a year ago in May. It was a hard time on all of us and Jessica was there for Jo and so were the horses. It meant a lot to me as a mom that my daughter was getting what she needed. It was a true blessing. Jessica is always patient with us and appreciative of opportunity to develop our daughter in to an equestrian.
We are thankful that Jessica and her horses are a part of our lives. They have taught us a lot. I plan to continue riding lessons with Jessica for my daughter Jo for the long term.
